Very nice videoes, refreshes good memories from my own visit.
Did you do any technical readings, like temperature, humidity and uvb exposion in the different areas? I am specially interessted in these data for the location of the spotted Furcifer petteri.
I thought we could use this thread as a place to discuss and share information about gestation periods for panther chameleons.
I have a 16 month old Nosy Mitsio female who has been stable at her gestation periods with egglaying 26-28 days after copulation. This last time she layed her eggs...
I take it that you mean chameleon species, the number of different species found on our walks was enormous:)
I was supriced on how many Brookesia we found, both Brookesia ebenaui and Brookesia stumpffi. These were almost impossible to find at day, but was to easy at night when they had ventured...
We did find females, but not on the taxi ride from the airport.
We went there in March, so all the females we saw were in very close distance to males. One female stayed close to the male for 3 days in the same tree, even sleept in a distance of 30 cm close to eachother.
Not chameleonrelated, but still an experience I remember well from my trip.

Its not a Furcifer pardalis, but still a photo I am pleased with of a beautiful Calumma nastum.
This was also a fairly common species wich I encountered several times.
Furcifer pardalis is abundant all along northwest of madagascar, but Nosy Bè had the highest population in my experience. They were also the most easy noticable due to the striking coloration of the males.
If you know what you are looking for, you will find chameleons pretty much everywere in...
I thought I would supply with some Furcifer pardalis habitat photos from my trip to Madagascar, the following pictures are all taken on the isle of Nosy Bè northwest of Madagascar. All photos are natural, and was taken as soon as the chameleons was spotted.
Furcifer pardalis is everywhere on...
NORChameleons Ghandi
This guy is without doubt one of my favorites, the contrasts between the blue and the red from head to tail is just breathtaking but very difficult to capture on camera. I did get one photo of Ghandi showing his colors in a reprecentative way.
NORChameleons does not have a website yet, just present at selected european reptilefairs or for pickup.
NORChameleons "Conan" with an updated picture from today.

I have keept her on a last instar silkworm diet for the past 10 days, with 2 pieces of 5gram silkworms each day, and she has gained 25grams since mating.
I probably have so hold back on the food the following...
I keep all my chameleons in bare bottom glass tanks.
I remove all feceas when spotted, and use a piece of paper sprayed gently with 96% alcohol to clean the bottom once a week. After wiping with alcohol I always go over with a paper sprayed with water.
It has worked for me in 10 years with...
Thanks Chris for the notice.
There was a quick blur in the typing, he is ofcource a Ambilobe, not Ambanja.
He is F1 from parents gathered by Bjørn Andersson back in the days.
