This where taken last week...
Does he looks fat in a not-healthy way?
When kept outdoors, do they grow faster for any reason?
To the OP sorry for the thread hijack, Im a bit worried :)
OK! I'll lower his dose starting today. He's gona hate me hahaha! But if it's for his own good...
Question: Do they have a faster metabolism when they are exposed to natural sun light all the time, compared to an indoor cham? He's VERY active and he's outside 24/7.
I give him 8-10 medium crickets at 9am, and the same amount around 3-4pm. Also some kind of worm about once a week. He never seems satisfied, if I give him 30 crickets x day he'll eat them all.
Do they know when to stop?
This thread made me wanna get some measurements...
My male panther is 5" stv.
He will be 4 month old in 6 days. He had 2 sheddings while under my care with 17 days in between them, 22 days since last one.
Hope Im not over feeding.
Thanks both for the replies...
Are there any other symptoms beside saliva and noises?
I'll keep watching for those.
He's a male ambilobe, he'll be 3 months old this Friday and hes been with me for 3 weeks. My first cham ever. There's an album in my profile if you wanna take a look at him...
Yes...screen on all 6 sides
Ill keep an eye out for saliva and noises, none of that so far.
Im on a tropical island, and every morning the vegetation looks like it has rained during the night. Is there any way too keep humidity lower?
Thanks
Hi
Read somewhere here that too much humidity can cause respiratory problems :(
My cage is set up outdoors 24/7 and every morning the humidity reads 99%. During the rest of the day is on the 60's %
Is that really a problem?
What are the symptoms to look for?
Thanks
Hi, thanks for replies
The only other feeders Ive found on local petshops are mealworms and superworms.
Read here that mealworms are not too good or nutritive, I give him about 2 very small ones per week, as treats. Superworms availabe here are too big for him (2"+) so I havent feed him...
Outdoors 2.5-3 month old male ambilobe.
If it makes any difference I feed him crickets gutloaded with potatoes, carrots, Repcal Cricket Food, and Flucker's High-Calcium Cricket Feed.
For supplements I got Repcal Herptivite (blue label) and MinerAll (red cap)...
How would you use this 2...
Thanks both!
I'll move the cage a little tomorrow, I hope he was just trying to warm up...
As for the supplements, should I do the whole thing?
Calcium without D3 every other day and with D3 twice a month?
Is there such a thing as calcium overdose?
Sorry if the questions are stupid :p
