It's just not worth the risk of getting him sick, it just recycles the water and it being in the same place as a living thing, it's sure to get some sort of bacteria in it.

I got him in the shower and I snuck in and caught him with his eyes closed enjoying the water. His mouth wasn't open, and I would think it would be open if he was in there. I'll keep you guys posted if I see anymore problems :) Thanks for the help!
