And trust me, that was the hardest thing taking that girl back. I was honestly afraid to try and deal with egg laying :( I just thought it would be probably better for the both of us to go our seperate ways...she didn't really like me either lol.
But this lil guy as soon as he saw me he...
Thanks! gathered as much knowledge as possible and took my girl back to the breeder and I had to try and choose a male out of the bunch since the breeder wasn't in. Any thoughts?
And yes thats a piece of poop hanging out his butt. I don't know if he was trying to poop upside down or what...
I got a plastic cup and poked a hole in the bottom with a needle. Drips all day and about a drop every 4 seconds or so.
Started doin this with my new cham because I hadn't bought a dripper yet and I actually ended up not buying a dripper and even replacing my other chams zoo med dripper with...
Around 6-7 months of age, female's will produce infertile clutches of eggs, regardless of being bred or not. You can cut back on her food intake and basking levels to reduce the size of the clutches and how long it will take her to lay them.
You will need a bin for her to lay her eggs in, with...
And where are my manners lol. Welcome to the forums!
ANY questions you ever have about your veiled will be answered here. Shoot away my man! Heres a thread that will help you in keeping your veiled healthy and well maintained...
Live plants will help keep the humidity up. Along with a dripper and 3-4 good thorough mistings of the whole cage should keep it up. Veiled's are one of the hardiest chameleons. They can go without the humidity being up to high, so don't stress it to much. But it is important to not have the...

Just wondering just in case I ever got another BB ambilobe cham later down the road from my cham store in my town. I recently got my lil girl Faith from there and I was wanting to know how to tell the difference between a male and female at a young age. Before the spurs grow in.
Thanks Angie! I'll read up on it when I get back home later today. I would read about at school but our schools internet blocks the forums because it's a social internet website
Just got her to eat a hornworm! She stared at it for a bit on my finger for a few minutes. But I gave up...
I actually got offered a chameleon care pamplet at pet smart. The sales man was actually pretty cool but he didn't know squat about chameleons. He handed me the pamplet and he tried explaining it all to me (I didn't get my guy from there I was just chatting to him about them because I bought...
I'm glad to hear that atleast ONE petsmart actually gives an effort for their animals. They take care of the jist of them at my pet smart but they don't have to many reptile experts in there.
It kills me to go into pet smart :( They have a lil baby jacksons in there and I can't help but look at the lil fella and feel sorry for him. He's kept in a tiny lil box on a wall of other reptiles that don't look in the best of health :(
Thanks for all the feed back everyone! :D Makes me feel ALOT better knowing what gender my lil fella is.
Now I get to name her lol. Was pretty easy for Leon, he's named after a game character that was a chameleon. From star fox 64, Leon Powalski, the one that's like "Andross has ordered us to...
My guy ate a pretty big cricket once upon a time when he was little that was mixed in with the bunch of em. He didn't poop the next day and I called a cham vet and they said the best thing to do was to get peach baby food and shoot it down their throat with a needless syringe. My guy had a nice...
