I don't see any major issues. Some chameleons like to bask more than others, so that may just be his favorite spot. What are you using to measure the temperature? If it is too cold he may also bask more.
They usually explore a lot more when you first get them and then find a couple places...
It's true that some chameleons develop color more slowly than others. However, can you post a picture of him from the side so we can verify the gender? Sometimes stores get this wrong, and it is important you are certain of the gender as they have different requirements.
Of the ones on that list I would get the Exo-Terra plain calcium, Rep-Cal Herptivite, and Repashy Calcium Plus. I don't have experience with the Exo-Terra products though.
Since he is gaping (opening his mouth) while under the light he is most likely too hot. Have you measured the temperature right where his body is since adding the plexiglass with a digital temperature probe? You would need to leave the probe there for about 10 minutes. 85F should be OK, and...
I know there are some people that do their own fecals, so if you have the right equipment and knowledge you could probably do it.
My veiled was in a large cage after I got him, but he would always like to squeeze into very tight spaces and his casque ended up getting bent to the side. Not...
Kinyonga has much more experience than me so I would follow her advice. My guess would be that your chameleon is from PetSmart since I know they use those type of cages. Unfortunately it is quite common for chameleons from chain pet stores to have infections or parasites. I've dealt with this...
How well is he able to climb and how is his grip? If he has MBD, it looks very minimal, it looks more like his casque was bent from hitting walls in a small cage. Do you know if he has MBD?
I think silkworms are very high in nutrients and are overall one of the best. So you could give him...
You want to use plain calcium (NO D3) every feeding, calcium with D3 twice a month, and multivitamin twice a month. Below are the ones I personally use:
Rep-Cal plain calcium...
Not having light at night is probably the most important correction of the things you mentioned. Chameleons can see all light that humans can (including red light), so this can keep them awake and make them tired the next day.
Welcome to the forums!
At his age, I would lower the basking temp so that it never goes over 29C. Also, there should be no light at night, it should be completely dark. No heating is needed at night unless the temperature goes below 10C. If it does get below that, you should either heat...
It does sound like an RI. Does he have any of the other symptoms like popping sounds, excessive mucous buildup in his mouth, bubbles, holding head up all the time?
If it is an RI, he would need an antibiotic. I would contact the breeder if there was a health guarantee, hopefully you can get...
Very nice. I don't think my veiled had bars until he was 4-5 months old :)
If you are re-using any of your last cham's supplies (including cage) I would bleach them and let them dry thoroughly before exposing him, just to eliminate the possibility of transferring parasites or viruses/bacteria.
He is very nice. I wouldn't worry about the handling if he initiates it. Some chameleons can be very friendly whereas some hate being handled. It is also possible to judge their stress by their coloration, normal relaxed colors are not dark or super bright. If they don't voluntarily climb...
I agree that looks like a fungal infection. Although the sunken eyes could be caused by dehydration, they could also just be a result of the infection. The color also likely indicates he is suffering.
Like Lathis said, you really need to take him to a vet who has chameleon knowledge. That...
Pictures aren't loading for me. Have you read the veiled FAQ from this forum?

Also, it would help if you could copy and paste this form and fill in the answers:

I have both the double and quad fixtures from LYR with 6% Arcadia and they are both great:
Double:

Quad:

I've also had success with ReptiSun 5.0 bulbs.
So sorry for your loss. Based on the info you provided and pictures I don't see anything seriously wrong that would have caused death. You said she started sleeping a little during the day, so it is possible she had an RI or some other issue that combined with the stress of being moved at such...
That looks like a female. You don't need anything on the bottom, you just need to dry up excess moisture to prevent mold and bacteria.
Eventually you will want an 18x18x36 screen cage with a good drainage system, but you are going to want a cage that isn't very high until the MBD improves...
