100% agreed! you just need a lot more branches and a couple of REAL plants (possibly pothos) in the upper part of the cage. an umbrella plant at the bottom of the cage would be nice too! your cham is stressed cause he's got almost nowhere to "walk" and/or hide!!
no drama, just add a few...
I agree with every word of your post and I'd like to add that free-ranging two or more chameleons of different specie together at the same time it's not a very good idea . it may work for some time but reptiles are quite unpredictable and we tend to remember that only when something goes wrong...
A guy from eastern europe told me that some breeders in his country ( sorry don't remember exactly which one was it :P) used to "pump" veiled females with loads of food and supplements to breed them as young as possible and produce larger clutches . obviously most of these females don't live...
as I said before, my female stopped eating her plants as soon as I gave her more water. However, you made a very good point in your last posts so I'll try feeding her veggies with your method and I'll let you know what happens! who knows, maybe I'll end up with a vegan chameleon :) :p

so jealous! mine get so stressed when i move their cages that i only put them outdoors in may and then back in in november. no occasional hours of sunshine for my couple :(
