And so Ive settled on getting a cham. so I may be here awhile.
Lets see I just turned 47 (Ugghh!!) and aside from my family(a hubby of 28yrs and 4 boys),everything I love to do seems to revolve around my animals.I love training and playing with my dogs.I love hanging out with my little...
I had intended to buy one of these and it seems noone likes them?
But the difference between 50 bucks and almost 200 for the mistking is pretty big.
Who owns the Habba mist and makes do with it?
I know they are noisy and the spray is rather big, not a fine mist but it is still useable...
Im sorry I dont know how I posted this in photography if someone wants to move this to general that would be great..
I just love the different colors on those male panthers. From bright oranges to turquoise blues.I also love the veiled and the cool designs on their sides
When you bought...
That is an awesome cage.I actually was hoping to buy one of those big reptariums for the front porch. But I have yet to find out if the weather here is good enough in summer to do that.
Does it stress them to be moved in and out on a daily basis?
Okay so what about 48 tall by 30 wide by 18...
I appreciate the responses.. Do they actually use the up and down space or do they just climb to the highest point and stay there regardless of whether its 6ft high or 4ft high?

I am going to go ahead a build a cage. How long would a 36tallx30widex18 deep last a panther cham. if he was around 3-4mnths when I got him?
I also wonder if i built it 48 high do they use the up and down space more then the side to side space. If the cage is placed high enough so he feels...
Thanks again. We use filtered water from one of those self serve machines in the grocery store so I imagine that would work fine.
By baby I meant juvenile but will now be aware that older is better.
Is there a major difference in care for a veiled then a panther? The price sure is...
Okay so what do you keep your babies in?
Im used to putting baby snakes in small bins so Im not sure what to do with a tiny chameleon. Some pics would be nice.
Do you use bottled water even for misting? Our water is super hard and full of minerals here not to mention chlorine.
Also how...
Thanks so much. That answers the main ones.Ive read the basic care sheets. If I decide to get a cham it will be a panther or veiled. They seem the easiest of these hard to care for lizards.Im still torn between these and a trio of collared lizards.I know they are complete opposites in the care...
I have by no means made up my mind yet.I am going to an expo in March.I know I want a lizard of some kind.Im a snake person up to now.I would like something more challenging and a bit more responsive.Yet I dont need something I can "play" with either, a nice display animal is fine.
Ive looked...
