Every once in a while one of my dart frogs tads gets a bubble. Sometimes they die, and sometimes they morph out just fine. I can't tell you what it is though. I don't think I have ever heard a good explanation of what it is from the frog forums either.

If it were a burn, I would expect the top of his head right above that eye to be burned too. It doesn't look like a burn either. Every now and then one of my panthers will get a random discolored spot like that, and it will go away. Not sure what they are but it doesn't seem to have any effect...
