Thinking about joining the pet / reptile industry?

If you've ever wanted to join this industry go check out the fauna classifieds board of inquiry just so you can get a feel of what you are getting yourself in to. http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=13 If it's not people crying about being scammed because they weren't...

    Spike Update

Technically it's unnatural for anything to be pet because they were all brought in from the wild originally ;)

    Panther Home

I use a 60 watt basking light in all my cages. You basically just need to check the temps of the basking area and go from there with what watt bulb you need. You can get a true white or one of the full spectrum house bulbs that might add more light, but I think everything looks good. On the...

That's cool :) There was one at the local pet store here and he was a mean little guy. I think all GTP's are awesome. I didn't know they got that blue after they mated. Good luck with the babies :-)

    Fish sticks

The costa rican chameleon is pretty big. I think a tad pole would be too small for it. They mainly eat monkeys and larger birds.

    Rare Furcifer Pardalis

I have a feeling that Nosy Faly panthers are going to be pretty common within the next year. I would go for Nosy Mitsio. This is in the US though. Since you are in Germany I would look around and see what everyone has and pick what they don't have ;)

HELP!!! Fruit flies all sold out!?!?!?!?

What are the temps there? You could always make a trap if they are out now. Get a few cups and put them in a tub with fruit / meat in them then wait a few hours and when you see flies start to build up cover the tube then take the cups out one at a time covered up and put them in whatever you...

    Got my panther! And questions!

Baby panthers should be allowed to eat as much as they want. I would suggest probably around 12+ small / medium crickets depending on the size. You supplementing sounds good. Just make sure it's light dusting. They dont need to be coated.

    With time comes experience

I've been messing around with www.weebly.com and www.wix.com for making it myself. Weebly is cool and very easy to use and wix has a bunch of flash templates that you can use and edit basically everything. With weebly and wix they are free, but it says .weebly.com or .wix.com, however you can...
