Im curious how old a male chameleon can be before he can mate and how would you know once its been done etc like when to remove the female if anyone could help thanks in advance.
I have had my chameleon for around 5 months now an i realy want to get another reptile so if anyone has any ideas i dont want to spend to much money oh an snakes an spiders are a no lol i know its a strange request but i know a few of you keep other reptiles etc. thanks
I just came hom an my cham was almost squashed looking flat on his side on a branch with his tail wrapped around a cable this was under the basking spot he looked very drained looking an funny patchy crusty colours i sprayed him an he apeared normal.......
So as some of you may know i had to take him to a vet as he hadant ate for just under two weeks it turns out NOTHING was wrong with him the vet said he is a very healthy cham im so glad ive done a good job careing for him as i thought i had done something wrong when he wasant eating. Ps thanks...
Ok so ive checked my husbandry everethings fine etc even had checked on a previous thread my chameleons not realy ate in just over two weeks now and for the last 3 days hes not bin active at all and stays on a bush with his tail curled up his fecals look fine yet i dont know how these are still...
My chams not ate for over a week now i saw him eat 1 waxworm yesterday and today still nothing my husbandry is spot on so it wont be anything to do with that im curently trying to feed locusts and then brought wax worms to try feed and he had 1
Ok so since my chams shed 5-6 days ago the 3 locusts ive put in his enclosure are still there and havant been ate also hes not being very active his lights are on a timer to come on at 9am and go off 9pm yet he will go down to sleep around 7-8 maybe earlier any sugestions why?
Hi. I always freerange my locust"s but my chams not realy snatching worms from my hand anymore so i guess i would like to make something to put them in can i see pictures? Maybe instructions on how to make etc thanks.
I beleve my chams around 4-4 an a half months old his second shed since ive had him yesterday and today hes an all blacky colour instead of more colours is this normal also his tail wrapped around his leg for about a minuite and it seemed he couldent get it off...?
As im not home all day i think i can mist enough an my cham gets dry heat rather than good humidity is a fogger a good idea for this i have heard? I gues il order something online to the uk anyone know of anything good and cheep
Ive just read on another post that chameleons go dRker the colder they are since ive had my new set up and new thermometer etc everything new my chameleon has always been dark apart from when i handled him earlier he went brown with white lines and dark stripes with lots and lots of white dots...
My chams stools recently havant had a white or yellow tip for urate recently so i misted for a longer time today is it ok to spray my cham is this something they like or will anoy? Obviously i dont want to make him upset. Also are there any sighns to look for if i think hes dehydrated?
Ok so i come home earlier an went strait to mist my enclosure my cham was in the middle and he was dark (as he is anyway as hes young) just darker than normal and his tail and head was powdery white as if the calci dust was on him but it wasant... When i went to hold him the bottom of his mouth...
