Yes he did, but he was out for way to long, like 1030am until 5pm. He is comfortable with hand feeding but not holding or walking on to it. I tried to get him to walk on a stick but it was not successful. But yeah he went back on his own. crazy right.Good luck, and I am waiting on my horns and...
This is a close up of his face after he free ranged all day. He just sat out all day, had to hand feed him all his crickets:D and he went back in on his own when it was his last misting time and bedtime.

I had this same problem yesterday, and I feel your pain. I had to hand feed him and that took all day :) he eventually went back in on his own. About 10mins before his last misting. I think I may wait but have heard people say make sure they get through a good misting and eating before letting...
I was hand feeding this morning and saw some good orange on his cheek and eye. As soon as I took it he was already coloring down. Hopefully, more of it will come out in time.
I have never seen this, but my old female use to get black spots around her mouth. She would eat them no problem but these spots would show up and eventually leave.
Joe,
I got it at a nursery and I just told them I was looking for a 3-4 footer. If you get one just like with all plants. Wash the leafs with soap and water about 4-5 times is what I do to get anything off of them. I also always replant or should say my wife does. :D And you should be good then.
Big gulp,
That's what I use to do, hot glue screen on two sides of a milk carton. They were far enough away from the sides so the crickets ould not reach, and the bottom had tiny holes drilled so water did not build up. No pictures but if you want I can probably find the video I used before.
Julia,
If this doesn't work out over time, which it did not for us. We switched to a thick piece of plexy glass (aka plastic) and drilled holes all over it. Holds great weight and drains really good. If you de ide to change let me know and I will take a picture for you.
