My boy that imports lets them go for about $60-80. He feels out people first. What can I say he's a businessman. He gave me a trio 1.2 for $50. One of the females is definetly prego. I've always wanted at least one panther but never really wanted to spend that much for all the equipment> It's...
Never thought of a black one. Sorry I didnt mean to type white. I use a clear one, as I figured he could see them in there. I use the deli cups that crickets come in as they are large enough so the crickets can't jump out. Ill look for something black though. Do you have any suggestions?
While the sealant is drying I drilled holes into the bottom of my screen cage plastics. Like this:
Once sealant has dried its time to put everything together. Lay down lid with pipe fitting through the rack's wire shelf. The cage Lays on top of the rubbermaid lid. And the 6 quart tube...
Im dont like free ranging crickets. The only crickets I let free range are for my pygmies and I dump 12 every other day 5 brevs and 7 for my 3 temps. But the second I drop those in it's a free for all and no crickets get left. My Rudis girls live together and get cup fed. My Panther was hand fed...
So it's day 10 of not eating. I trust the previous owner. I've seen him eat from him. I even took his cricket colony that he didnt need anymore which he used to feed him. I've tried supers and even meals but with no interest. I also leave some crickets in a clear white deli cup tied up in...
Picture 1: Looks like it could be either but maybe an older female.
Picture 2: Definetly a male.
The male should display stripes and spotting w/ yellow stripes on his eye turrets when searching for a mate. If the female is not receptive she will shake and chase him away or run away. It's...
His basketing spot runs between 91-95. But he likes to chill on the other end of the cage still towards the top. It ranges around 80-85 during the day.
So its been about a week since my panther last ate. I leave two large crickets in a feeding dish I mafe and I also try to hand feed everyday but with no aval???
Well as your going to do what your going to do, all I can do if offer suggestions. Working with acrylic isn't the easiest thing to do. It can get fustrating cutting it exactly to your liking. I would suggest using a small screen cage as they are cheaper and already made. You can buy acrylic...
A mist system will make your life extremely easier. Either Mist King or Aquazamp will do the job. It does require a drip tray. A little dripper is ok to have, I have them on my Rudis and Panther cages for in between mistings.
So I am working on a drainage system for my Male Panther and Rudis girls. First off my cages are as follows:
Panther: 30"x18"x36" screen cage from Kammerflage I believe. (Got it used)
Rudis: (2) 16"x16"x20" reptibreeze. I took out one side each and attached them together fo it's 32"x16"x20"...
Come on people...I always replant with eco earth because I get it wholesale...It's just a hassle when you get new plants you have to clean them first and they are normally filled with that stuff. The plants already come planted like that. I know about covering w/ rocks so they don't have access...
