The usual fear of snakes and reptiles ?
Nobody really knows - but one of the reasons used in the 70'es when the ban came was that reptiles was to hard to keep for the regular bloke, which probably was correct in cold Norway. As terras and other gear was hard to come by in Norway and good...
It's not just frowned upon - but it is illegal tp keep reptiles in Norway.
Some gov.departements are lookin in to a change in the law though - so maybe, and thats very maybe, there might be legal to keep some reptiles in Norway in late 2011
