Yeah, just look closely in the pics, you can see they are missing a few nails or claws. No missing toes or anything. They have a hard time climbing screen cages but I just keep a nice bushy ficus for them and some climbing sticks and they love it.

Thanks for the info... too late now. Chuck passed this morning, quite peacefully I may add. He was my first cham, this is very hard on me but I'm glad he isn't suffering anymore. Thanks for the help....
In my experience, warm water is way better. Even my chams that don't like to be sprayed let me spray them if I usa hot water. When the water mists, it cools so don't worry about using hot water. Just not boiling... :p
My chams always rub their eyes when they first start to shed, or shed...
Hello, unfortunately lately I've come up on some rough times, both economically and emotionally with my chameleons. I have a male werner, Chuck, who has been sick awhile and is still hanging on. I have had him on anti-biotics and helping him everyday get hydrated and fed, but he is lathargic and...
:(
Sorry to hear about your loss. Your story made me sad... your story is pretty much a step by step of what happened to my girl. She looked just like yours. It was like I was reading and seeing my own story. Kinda of weird....
What I found out in the necropsy on my girl was the same as...
Not an expert, but I'm pretty sure that breeding related chams (i.e. brothers and sisters, etc.) can cause this "mutation"., causing the skin to look "transparent". I've seen a few bearded dragons like this too before...
LIke I said, I'm no expert, this is just what I've read. I'll wait for...
Oh snap, didnt even notice this post... HAHA, no worries dude, I'm glad that little guy went to a good home and got there safely. He's an energetic one. ;) Happy holidays.
Well his spots seem to be going away. I haven't noticed them today. I'm still giving him anti-biotics and liquids. He is still pretty lathargic thought...
Sorry my vet sucks (I guess)... I asked for info BEFORE I took him to the vet to see if anyone had any recommendations on a better vet or...
I took him to the doctor because of what I'm describing.
He was lathargic, sleeping at day and not drinking.
Any clue to what these white spots might be?
I'll try to puncture the worms next time I feed him. The temperature really dosen't drop as low as I posted it. Sorry. I posted the outside nightime temp. But he is indoors. His temperature at night never drops below 70°, as that how warm it is at night here. He isn't close to a window either...
Cage Info:
Cage Type - Screen, 1.5' x 1.5' x 2.5'
Lighting - Natural sunlight / Reptisun 5.0 when inside.
Temperature - 80°-70° during the day. 65° at night.
Humidity - I have a thermometer outside that reads 30% plus I mist and add ice cubes to the top of his cage. He has one live plant in...
