well she is awake right but still in the same spot now and I was working monday through thrusday.so not sure about those days,but there did seem to be less crickets at the end of those days.And as for friday I have not seen her eat or drink.

Right I know the idea is not to handle the too much,but I would like her to have a life outside of her cage.but don't worry I know its a big no no to take the cham out too many times.

Ok thanx for chiming in,I was getting a little worried.As for handling I'm waiting till she is bigger,maybe a month or two.So,zero times that she has been handled.

yeah sounds like a good idea,but do you have any idea how much that kind of check up would cost?just started a new job and have yet to get my first check.

no she isn't dark but then agian she did go down late last night.I hope she dosn't need to lay eggs cause she is tiny:oSo if she does need to lay what does she need?

well Blackbetty she is only 3 months old and has not had a mate.I heard from someone that,they don't need a mate to lay though.Is that so?And before I got her home,I asked about light timing an a senior member said those time would be ok,but see what you saying.

yes she did go to a different spot yesterday and as of right now she is still in the same spot?This is a different spot then where she is usually sleeps,right now close to the bottom of her ficus.the temps are normal,around 86 degrees.Her lights go out at 10pm and on at 8am.

So I have had my cham a week Thursday and for the first time she fell asleep early,like 6pm my time.I noticed that she went to the bottom for the first time and looked at her 30 minutes later to find shes out?I know this isn't good.What does this mean?What can I do?

thanx but is that heat lamp for night use?I was told I would'nt need one.would a regular heater close to the cage work as well?thats wat I'm doing.and yeah I know it should be at 85 at daytime and ten degrees drop at night.I do keep a close eye on it when I have days off.Also when i say everyday...

so what type of heater are you speaking of?extenal or inside the enclosure?

te cage is 15 inchx24 inchx30 inch and the light is off to one side and in a heat fixture,so about 4 inches from the top

Yes I do have a accurate themometer,but I only using a 60 watt bulb for her basking spot.So do you have any ideas that would help with kepping a temp at a steady spot?well really I've never seen it go below 65 degrees

Ok,so everyday I'm having to deal with temps jumping all around.Sometimes in the morning,when I wake up,it can be as low as the low 60's in her cage.Other times I'll get home from work and find the temp to be in the high 90's.So,which would be worse for her? P.S. shes a 3 month old panther...
