My story has holes? I am a cinema major and I take advanced production and SCREENWRITING classes and I am in my last semester so I know a thing or 2 about filling holes into a story. With that being said, this is no fictional story. I do not know what petsmart does with there chams besides...
Thanks guys. Glad you enjoy looking at them as much as me. I find myself marveling over the girl to my surprise but I love the lil guy b/c he looks so funny to look at with his small head and HUGE eyes looking back at you. It's hard not to smile:]
^^yeah I know that. I have a chameleon book I have been reading. But the cham was a 3 horned jackson and there were eggs. I took a picture on my phone but its **** quality. And even if they dont lay eggs or they lay slugs or whatever. All I am saying is I saw a dead jackson in a glass...
Got these guys 2 days ago locally(luckily) and would love to get some feedback/comments on em. They are brother and sister 3-4 weeks old. The female was actually the biggest one out of the bunch and male was the last male the breeder had left and he was actually the smallest of the bunch...
If you are done with that shop then you should go back in saying you changed your mind and then tell them what is up just like you said. You are not being a **** by trying to the improve that quality of life of a trapped animal. They are the dicks for being a reptile shop and not knowing how...
wow I was totally thinking that on the way home. It had 3 horns and the cage said jacksons. There were deff eggs laying behind it. there were a bunch of them. They did not look like slugs.
yeah I felt really bad for the jackson and the veiled. I wanted to rescue the veiled from them, but like I said, he looked alright and not in bad condition so I opted not to(I just bought 2 baby(male/female) veileds, or else I would have..
But damn, how do big petstores get away with this kind...
So I went to petsmart today in Daly City for some feeder crickets and a new enclosure for my dubias. Upon entering I go to the reptile section just to check out what they had and how they looked. First a saw a veiled in a glass enclosure with a small area of ventilation at the top of the cage...
seems as though LLL is not taking proper care of there chams. Gonna have to call them and have a talk because that is unfair to receive a sick cham right off the back. For everyone else, I would STAY AWAY from the LLL baby veilds. there is obviously something very wrong with them. Id say the...
I got a baby male from LLL reptile about a month ago. Came with only one eye open and slept all the time. I dusted his food with supplements, sprayed his cage multiple times a day, and started gut loading his crickets. Nothing made any improvement. This eventually led to him closing both his...
I named my 3 week old maled Veiled Paarthurnax after the dragon in Skyrim.
And I named my 3 week old female Veiled Calisi after the banging mother of dragons in Game of Thrones.
Well I was really worried last night but he made it alright. But getting rid of the night light has not made a difference in his napping. Gonna keep turning it off at night and monitor any progress. I think gutloading the crickets is going to have the most positive impact on his energy.
and...
UPDATE TONIGHT- well I got rid of the night bulb. He's sleeping upside down on the very top level of the screen and hes never done this before...as well hes moved back and forth changing his positions multiple times, which as well he has never done before....whenever I had the light in he never...
Okay sounds good because I prefer the blue bulb to the sun glo one anyways and I think he does too. It lights up the cage more. As for timers, I turn the lights on by hand morning at night. somewhere between 8-10 in the morning and turn it off at 10pm. Hes got the 10pm thing down because at...
