thing is tho nothing had ever happened til i supplemented them so maybe thats the cause? i have no clue at this point so ill have to consider taking him off it and see how he does.

i supplement them with repti-cal but its not very much maybe like once a week? all my other babies are fine except the one male i have, and i switch there diet up alot, from baby hornworms to, fruit flies, crickets.

just was wondering one of my baby oustalet's seems to have edema "swelling in the neck area". how should i go about resolving this issue and how can i tell whats causing it? is there anyway to better the situation? thanks.

coming from me because i breed hornworms, look for a pulsating aorta on top of there body and once they start wondering and not eating just get some damp soil and put them in it and they start burrowing into the soil to pupate.

good research, i think ill have to take on this agar issue and find a supplier who will do bulk quantities because really i dont use much of it in my recipe problem is finding a good U.S source other than chinese sources

well agar agar can be substituted with something else such as carrageenan but that will be my next plan

i perfer the agar powder
