Do Johnstoni's come up for sale very often? what's the average cost?
Seriously, do keep this thread alive.
when I had my baby ambilobe sometimes he would be nearly black and within a few minutes he'd be bright as can be again. I thing it's pretty normal for them to change from darks to lights at this age as they naturally change their bodies temps and I wouldnt be reading in to it too much... Maybe...
foggers are not necessary and only really provide a nice aesthetics. Get a mist king by whatever means possible. Trust me I've made the rounds with the other cheaper misters and none compare. Buy one online as it's probably the only way to get one anyways...
jajeanpierre do you use an incubator to keep the worms warm enough to hatch? I've heard it helps and you can find em pretty cheap....
Mulberry trees can be bought online for pretty cheap too... And as far as I can tell they thrive in most all climates....
Congrats on the new babe! I've heard mealworms outer shells can be hard for chams to digest.... But if it's all you have I'd quickly go find some crickets and roaches to gutload/dust and feed to him. you can buy crickets and dubias in bulk for much cheaper online than at local shops by the...
Makes sense there's a ton of constant movement at those shows and it would easily drive any cham nuts....
Sorry for your loss btw....

I'm no expert....But from what I've read bars change from blue to red and all over frequently before they develop their adult coloration. Also, I've read in places that just because the sire has them it doesn't necessarily mean your boy is going to as well. The traits are distributed from both...
I saw pothos at the hardware store the other day with the same tall setups. They were a good 2 to 3 feet tall as well!
A lady at the nursery told me ficus hate being next to other plants and will drop leaves if so. I like how rigid ficus branches are but I agree with you guys and I'm...
I don't know for sure if it's true but a lady at the nursery told me that ficus doesn't like to be directly near any other plants and will drop it's leaves in that area if so. So if you see this happening maybe test the theory? I'd go with Carltons advice before my own however ha!
So I was using this awesome software downloaded on to one of my out dated iPod touches that would flip the camera on once is noticed movement near the cricket box. The apps name was Presence and it's free..... But if you wanted to buy a used iPod touch for pretty cheap then get that free app...
Thanks reyesjoshuacruz and SycoSquirl for your great feedback and thoughts. I'm more motivated than ever to push this thing forward.
scycoSquirl this was huge for me as well because my wife is disgusted by the feeders and won't help while I'm away working long hours every so often and my son...
