My female has a spot on her belly that looks like that. I'm thinking it's indicative of her next shed also, but it's been like a week.

What a handsome boy! I have been wondering about colors too because my girl is an estimated 5 months, and hasn't shown much color yet other than the green and dark stripes or polka dots. He seems to be about the same size she is from what you say. What kind of lights do you have on his terrarium?

Thank you Jannb! Her name is Pickles. I will raise her light to lower the temp and I do have a laying bin set up for her. I figured it was her getting ready to shed again soon, but I wasn't sure since she's had it for a few days now. Thank you for the reply!

In the last week, I've noticed my girl has a lighter spot on her belly, just on one side. It's been 3 weeks since her last shed, so I'm wondering if she isn't getting ready to do it again. Last time she shed, she had a smaller dry patch for about a week and a half before the shed. This is bigger...

trust me, i haven't once tried to pull her skin. i would never do that! she was just always excited to come out and go outside for some sun. she'd climb right on me even if i was just spot cleaning her house. and now if i so much as walk by and stop to peek in at her she puffs up and gets...
