I've owned both. Sadly my veiled died down to a returning abscess and was put to sleep in the end but this hasn't put me off that particular species and about to be a owner again of a veiled wednesday. But I love both species equally but veileds are alot cheaper, from my experience and the...

Just look for the urate, if its nice and white, he's drinking, better than standing there and worrying if he's drinking but I know how much it can make you worry ;)

So excited, a baby veiled will with me on Wednesday morning. Can't wait. It's a male I'll be receiving.
So pics will coming soon. Only 5 days to go if you don't count Wednesday :D
Came across this on Repashy's website and been mentioned here. Is ok to use? I'm unsure to use it, I mean isn't it better to let Chams colors develop naturally rather than adding more stuff to their diets, to me it feels like the color development is being forces rather than having patience.
Sleeping during the day is never a good thing, Chams should only sleep at night and awake in the day. would help if you filled in the questionnaire called "how to ask for help" in the health section of the forum and post it here :)

Cut the pinkies out and get it back on stable items such as crickets, dubia roaches, silk worms, hornworms.
For more hood feeders, please look at the feeder database :)

Olimpia said it perfectly :D
Generally most pet stores are not very knowledgable as they think they are even if they claim to know what they are talking about. You may find pet stores who do but rarely, alot of experiences with members and pet stores have given them wrong information.
I buried my veiled cham in the garden. All my animals are buried, only one that isn't is my Rottweiler who was put down because of cancer and when they die their body weight increases, called "dead weight" so too heavy to bring home abd burry, so had him cremated.
Don't be so hard on yourself, accidents happen :) and because it was a normal reflex its what the human body does and don't have control over our reflexes. As long as his tounge went back into his mouth fine, don't worry :)
Next time you hand feed him, try and let the wax worm wriggle on palm...
We received some bad news today. My mother's auntie had been feeling unwell for a while and after some tests at the hospital, today she was diagnosed with bowel cancer :(
