    Low-light Flowering Plants

You can also use Florida Ground Orchids for added aesthetics. With the right light and water they will shoot up some nifty dark red flowers. The deremensis is growing like a weed! Looks good buddy. :) Cheers, Luis

What is the attraction of. Veilds?

Here here! ;) Despite what you feel about veiled chameleons, Jann has some of the prettiest animals I've ever seen! Cheers, Luis

    CB Senegals price?

They like a decently warm hotspot (I use 75-100w) and a copious amount of water. We mist for 10 mins, 3 times per day. Eggs should be incubated at ~82-84°F for about 6 months or so. Cheers! Luis

    CB Senegals price?

Prices are very relative to the times and species. Unfortunately C.senegalensis won't sell for a lot due to their availability and low price from wholesalers. I would imagine 100-150 would be a fair price. But C.senegalensis are notoriously difficult to breed in captivity. Most don't live long...

Our new Cham MEGA mansion :)

The answer to your rope dilema is to not use rope. :) I kid of course, but in all seriousness, it would be much easier for them to get around on more solid, taught pathways. Tightening the rope may help a bit, but it still takes much more balance because of the sway etc etc. I cut large...

    chamaeleo africanus

Congrats Chad, they look great! I saw a few at the Tampa show this past weekend and thought of you. :) If they're anything like C. senegalensis, I recommend heavy misting everyday. We noticed a huge benefit when we threw our senegalensis in the deremensis system, which gets misted for 10 mins...

    Deremensis

They're looking great Steve! I bet you'll see why I call them the "Poor man's" Parson's. ;) Also, the one from us isn't just CH but mated, laid and born here. We're working on F2's this coming season as our holdbacks from the past few clutches are finally getting up to age. Here's a pic of...

    Orlando stores

The only real reptile shop in Orlando is Pat Bazaar in Casselberry. They're great folks and have a decent selection of animals. They are a retail outlet so don't expect internet prices, but again, it's the only shop around here and does very well because of it. :) Luis

We've purchased all of our cham cages from Bob. He's a pleasure to work with and is very reasonable with pricing. :) Cheers! Luis

    Melleri 7ft PVC cage

Not a bad PVC cage at all. If I were to criticize one thing, it would be the width. You would be surprised how much they go back and forth rather than up and down. ;) Luis

    better baby deremensis pictures

They're looking great Laurie! We have roughly 20 out of their eggs so far. Just waiting on the last 10 and I can stop worrying about hatching and continue worrying about raising them up! :) Luis

    k no bull crap.

There is no respect lost on me, rather on the scientists who have spent the time to do the research, prepare and publish a paper that you seem to passionately disagree with. Cheers! Luis

    k no bull crap.

Check again... "Researchers have long thought that the Komodo dragon, native to Indonesia, kills via blood poisoning caused by the multiple strains of bacteria in the dragon's saliva. But "that whole bacteria stuff has been a scientific fairy tale," said Bryan Fry, a venom researcher at the...
