They are the same species just some folks believe the willengensis is a different locale(?) or perhaps subspecies. I've yet to read anything official though so in my eyes they are still simply T.j.jacksonii. ;)

If it between the two you mentioned then I think you've found your answer. ;)
That's funny. Simon had a "just five more minutes" attitude too. Extremely intelligent and wise dogs but very independent.
Cheers!

I used to own a Great Pyrenees. They're amazing loyal and can be a bit protective. They're definitely barkers and will often bark at anything they can hear or see outside your window. They absolutely love the snow so if you don't get at least a few months a year I wouldn't recommend it. This is...
Don't forget...despite her being gravid she still needs a quiet acclimation with lots of misting on and off throughout the day and feed sparingly. It's always tempting to feed them as much as they'll eat when you open the box but sometimes it's not the best idea. :)
Good luck!

We've been waiting for a shipment for over a year ourselves. The issue is due to labor disputes in the wildlife department in Madagascar. Many of the workers have been on strike (until they need a few bucks) causing all sorts of delays for everyone. The recent imports have been on older permits...
Oh Laurie, you know you can call me anytime! ;)
Thanks for the kind words everyone.
Jack, you have a great looking collections. All of the geckos look to be very healthy! Keep up the good work. :)
Cheers!

Eh, some folks think that producing something like this can make them some decent money. It's certainly an interesting project, and as Jeremy mentioned, it would have been nice to see if they could go on. It's my firm belief that such projects should only be condoned if they're never allowed out...
Here is a photo of one of the females we have available. She's 10 months old and is unrelated to the second male pictured above (third image).
Cheers!
Luis
The first male pictured above is on hold. :)
We also have an unrelated female for the second male. Unrelated pairs of CB deremensis are nearly impossible to find together like this!
Cheers!

They're never bred because they cost $1-$5 on the importer lists and such. Who can compete with that when they would cost $50 per animal to raise from egg?!
With that said, they're not the easiest to breed either. It's been done a handful of times, but it's certainly not something that is...
Senegalensis are notorious trouble makers. If you let her loose, you may find her in all areas of the house including not so safe ones. They're travelers and wanderers and will take every advantage of the free space as they can. IMHO, they're not great candidates for free ranges unless you have...
Well, if you need work, Florida isn't the best place to come to. Unless of course, you're into the hospitality industry. The lack of income tax is nice and it's rather easy to live here but I know any professional who can't find work at all. :(
There is also a huge cultural difference between...
Chams are difficult because many folks purchase wild caught animals from their local store and wonder why they die a few days/weeks later. With the right care a CB animal should live a long and healthy life, but they still do pose the risk of strange ailments that can (and often do) take them...
I would highly doubt they bred C.senegalensis. They're all WC unfortunately.
Judging by the pic, the one you received is a WC female. I would recommend getting a fecal done in the next week or so and make sure you keep the cage very clean. It's best to know what you're working with...
Hey Everyone!
We have a few animals left from our last clutch of T.deremensis (Usambara Giant Three Horned Chameleons). This isn't a species that is offered too often by the other breeders so nows your chance to start off right and work with captive bred animals!
Up first are a couple of prize...
