That's awesome... I'd love to have a draft.
Rattlesnakes are scary... Luckily I've never come across one in Florida, but I did see a cottonmouth on the trail a couple weeks ago :S
This is the one I saw: http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3457/3943015489_e712bd789d_b.jpg
That's so funny...
Aww, I'm sorry : [
That's awesome! I free leased a cremello Paso Fino for a while. Here are some pictures of him: http://www.flickr.com/photos/cloudsmystique/sets/72157618984169031/
We did NOT get along, haha.
I live in Florida, too, and have a lot of the same wildlife. I don't have that much by my house because I live in the city, but this is what I've SEEN on the trails where I ride my horse:
anoles
snakes (black racers and cottonmouths)
frogs
toads
gopher tortoises
turtles
armadillos
raccoons...
1) ... keep the bottom of your cage/floor of your house/Repti-Carpet clean with all the misting and plant watering?
2) ... make sure there are no crickets left in the cage overnight? Do you have to find and catch them all?
And 3) Where should the humidity level be, if you...

I think that's the problem. He's living in some oak trees, I believe. It's totally open, so he could leave anytime he wanted, but he stays there.
Would it be okay to take him outside and set him on a plant or a table to take pictures of him?
I do this with my bearded dragon, who CAN be really fast, but I've never had a problem with him trying to run away.
I ask this because while I was at the plant nursery buying some ficus trees...
Mealworms
Superworms
Waxworms
Stick insects
Roaches
Fruit flies
House flies
Mantids
Silkworms
Farm-raised hornworms
Butterworms
Cultured snails
Field plankton
Grasshoppers
I know that some of those are supposed to be treats only... but I can't find anything that tells me which...

Here's the poll: http://www.snappoll.com/poll/310462.php
You have to scroll down to get to my poll. There's an annoying other poll on top of it.
Thanks :D
Thanks for the pictures, everyone. They're all gorgeous. Unfortunately, all of Fosco's babies have sold out, so I think I might go with Roland. I'm not sure, though.
I'm a little nervous about picking out a young chameleon that isn't showing any color yet. Do they usually end up looking a lot like their dad? Or can they look totally different sometimes? What about size? If you have a baby from a huuuge male, will the baby most likely be huge?
Sorry if...
I looked there and I do like Roland. I fell in love with Fosco and Bilbo, and now I can't find any other chameleons that look like them. I really like the blue background with the darker bars (blue, green, reddish, or purple). But I think I will get one of Roland's babies if I can't find...
