I wouldn't ship anything worth more than $20 through USPS let alone a chameleon. UPS is very respectable and the people there are friendly and that's worth an extra $10-30. Good luck! Your little guy is probably getting some good rest in that box.
Here it is.
Snips.
Habba "Rain Dome" lol. I attached a beer pong cup (clean) to the Habba Mister and turned it into an Aqua Zamp wanna' be. It's like my automatic dripper and I try to spray when it goes off.
And introducing, Zorack the Chinese Mantis who was eating a cricket as I typed...
My Panther is about the same size and he bit me when I moved him into his new cage. I watched a handling video just before and they said most chameleons are just bluffing...it was kinda funny because he didn't do any damage. But, I swear he practices biting like a pitbull in his cage. I feel...
I was going to make a pvc this summer, but ran out of time. I was going to use a square tubing instead of round, so the door would seal a bit better. Heavy Duty staples should hold the screen in place w/o damaging the frame.
Heh, kinda suspicious if they took all the time to drug all the animals and pay for the relaxants. More than likely they are just cold, ignorant, and stubborn.
So my room lights don't disturb him while he sleeps. It's actually a thin material used for covering hunting stands and such, but I like to call it a blanket and it has leaf pattern holes for airflow.
^Nothin' fancy. I'll post pics of interior tomorrow : )
I just completed my 2x4 Reptibreeze for my 6 month, even though I despise Zoomed. It was my only option. The quality of screen is good, but the damn thing has gaps (both doors) (yes, I did assemble it correctly). I knew since it was ZM it would be sub par, but I wasn't expecting this mess...
Maybe you got a bad one. However, I do believe there are better alternatives to every reptile product on the market (besides supplements). There is one company starts with Zoo that really boils my blood.
My cham is diggin' the dubias Pssh sent me. They aren't that bad. Dubias are like bigger crickets with a backpack. Roaches don't creep me out anymore. Hundrend times better than stinky, hop hop hop, oops I disconnected my leg while it was trapped between the tweezers, crickets.
