Nick
Im in NY and this has been a really cold week, but not colder than any of you guys. I ordered 2 batches of horn worms and made sure I would be home to receive the package. When I opened it there was not a single one alive, which is pretty disappointing not only because I might be out...
I know a lot of you guys breed your own insects but does anyone order insects in the cold weather? If so from where? Trying to add some variety to my chams diet but just had a bad experience with getting a batch of dead hornworms, Im assuming from the cold. Any ideas?
No, no shed stuck. Just a bit of a crimp lol. He's still a young man, only 5 months. Not sure if he was born this way or if something happened before he came to me.
hey guys,
just wondering what you guys thought about my chameleons tail. I noticed the first day I got him he had a little crimp in his tail. Ive read some things about injured tails potentially being a problem down the road. Ive had him for 2 weeks today. The entire tail is functioning fine as...
it comes with pretty detailed instructions. Make sure the auto setting is on. then hit program -> set the on time then hit program again and set off time.
Ive read they are high in fat and should be offered rarely if ever. Problem is, they're one of the three feeders I can get locally and would be nice to be able to use in between orders. What do you guys think about them?
Where did you get that pvc liner that goes to the drain? And also what exactly is the the notched pieces that hold the pvc pipe? Id like to build something like this.
Snowing in NY but Zeus doesn't mind. Ive had him a little over a week and he's doing great. A lot of his colors are starting to come in, Ill have to try and get some pics of him with something other than an iPhone. Although, he is still at a stage where he thinks I'm gonna eat him when I open...
lol wow. Thats way easier than what I went through. I have a wooden enclosure and built what looks like an upside down "L" so I can hang the lamp off of it and keep it suspended off top of cage. Wish I would have thought of this lol. Innovative.
awesome new little guy and the setup looks great! Just wondering about the heat lamp, only because I've been having to experiment a bit with my own. What kind bulb are you using that you can leave the lamp right on top of the screen like that? Getting the basking spot to the proper temp without...
Lol the old man. Yea he's actually almost directly in front of a window. Come to think of it, I'm in New York, haven't seen much sun at all here in awhile.
hey guys, Ive owned chameleons before but none like this one so far. Just to preface, he's a 5 month old panther and I haven't even had him a week so I know he can be a little out of sorts at first. I wake up at 630am, thats when his lights go on. Shortly after he's making his way up to the...
Ive read some older threads on here and was wondering is it still a current idea that mealworms should only be offered as a treat for your chams? He's a 5 month old male panther Ive only had for about 5 days. Ive been feeding him crickets as a staple with some mealworms mixed in here and there...
