    Spectral pygmy chameleon (rhampholeon spectrum)

They prefer relative wet places to store their eggs. So keep so parts of the terrarium very wet and others not so that they have a good gradient

CB Trioceros tempeli - rarer than CB parsoniis ;-)

Hi, I thought I should share something really cool, CB tempeli. My female gave birth to 17 juveniles, 2 didnt got out of the sacks and one did after two days. In the clutch there were 4 wax eggs as well. Those guys are really tiny, I guess one inch TL: Trioceros tempeli CB juvenile...

    where to buy springtails

A "colony" is only a good idea if you have a GIANT enclosure for them. Rhampholeons arent as aggressive as many "real" chameleons but they are no social animals. Try to start with a 1.2 group if you have enough space. But please not more for the beginning. Springtails are available on most shops...

The big guy pay's a visit

Ah ok, I had my transvaalense/damaranum/pumilum this year long outside, till mid of October. The weather was very good during day, up to 20°C, during the night it was very cold, near 0°C, but the animals showed their greatest coloration :)

Take a guess about their specise :)

It's all about money and favours. In the "first" world you need more of them in the third world less. @showjet: I wont blame anyone for hunting animals because of hunger, but the main problem in Asia is that the animals are less worth than mud. They were housed half death in high numbers under...

Take a guess about their specise :)

The only strict thing in Madagascar are the controls at the airport. You know why ? Because finding a smuggler is the easy $ cause nobody wants to stay in their jails. Did you ever travel to Madagascar ? Or did you ever talked with someone who knows how the situation is there ? No ? Every...

    Kinyongia Catch!!!

Great video, thanks for posting ! This genus is really interesting, I've seen smaller Kinyongias several time real fast jumping from one branch to the other, for coming closer to food or for escaping from bad humans ;)

Lucky you that you passed the controls at the airport. I've heard the authorities in Maddy are very strict in such cases. dinamite: Well, I can understand your post, but to be honest, do you know what the difference between a smuggled and a legal animal is ? A piece of paper. Madagascar does...

    Importing Masoala panther chameleons

Beside the question of being serious or not or just trolling: Forget this hobby if you are doing it for the $s. The market is full of cb juveniles from serious breeders and the professional guys who have a good reputation. If you want to make good money with herps, go to New Zealand and send...

MTV True Life: I have an exotic pet!

The aim of private television is not to present you as an serious keeper, their aim is to present you as a freak. Private television is interested in ratings, not more not less. And because humans arent really far developed they feel better seeing sb one television whos pitiful. You want to...
