    Mistking???

I just set a MistKing up and I only have one nozzle in a 3x2x2. I have mine in the upper lefthand corner. It mists the cooler side of the cage and hits most of the back wall. He usually hangs more towards the back and I see him drink off the screen pretty often. This way it doesn't mist the...

    Feeding amount

Hey everyone I am having a hard time deciding if I am feeding TRex enough food. I usually feed him about 8 or 10 give or take crickets a day which are about a 1/4 inch. He eats most of them in the morning and by later that day it looks like he prolly would eat another hand full of crickets...

    Outside insects

Hey everyone I am a little bit concerned this morning. I usually try to take TRex outside in the morning a few times a week before it gets to hot out. But this morning I placed him on the hibiscus like usual but I noticed that he ate like two bugs of some kind I don't know. It looked like he...

    uvb10.0

I use the reptisun 5.0 as well. I was wondering what the10.0 was for. But you have to think that the chamois love sun and it's ok to take them outside to bask in the real sun. The uv from the real sun has to be a lot more than 10.0. I have been taking my Cham outside in the morning pretty often...

    MistKing emergency

You have to make sure it set to auto. Pretty much you push the sec button three times and on the screen it will say auto. I had that problem at first.

    Good Morning

Hey everyone just felt like posting a thread because I am outside sitting on my deck with TRex. He let me take him out of his cage this morning which was awesome, so I figured I would put him on his hibiscus to grab some real sun before it gets too hot out. He just shed for the first time...

    Looking and Looking

Do you have to do anything special with the silkworm eggs. I am every interested in ordering some but it is summer an I feel like the eggs are better to order. Also I can feed him smaller ones and the won't grow to big during shipping. So all you do is keep the eggs in the ref rig and take some...

    Feeding confusion. Whats your regimen?

You kinda sound like me before I bought TRex. I don't really care for crix at all, but you learn to like them because you like yourncham. Crux are easy to maintain and keep. I just keep mine in a rectangular Tupperware container. I also put a few cut up egg crates in there and this makes it so...

    Night time temps

Yea I ac is on and my cage doesn't go below 73/74 and my lil guy is doing fine. The only things I am still experimenting wil is feeding methods. Somedays I feel like he like cup feeding better when other days he would rather just have the cross lose in his cage. It's a work in progress still.
