Also if he is still eating, drinking, and active then you shouldn't worry about that fall. My chameleon fell about 5 feet on to concrete, and he was perfectly fine.:D
You sould dust with plain calcium at every feeding, calcium with D3 twice a month, and miltivitamins twice a month. It is not nessacary to have a substate, it is actually bad for them.
