I was walking my dogs on a trail through the woods and came across these worms. I thought they were silk worms because they were in mulberry trees and in the silk web thing, but from comparing them to pictures of other silk worms I'm not so sure anymore.
My 3 month panther ate fuzz, something like what's in stuffed animals. It was a pretty small piece, but still enough to have me very worried. I was pouring crickets into her feeder cup and dumping a few to roam in her cage. I guess somehow some fuzz got in her cage in the process that I didn't...
It's hard to tell cause I'm on my phone and its small but I mean the bottom right, front corner of the cage. I looks like a cup? Do you keep food in it? I was thinking about something like that.
My chameleon loves dubias, and they're easy for me to just put on a branch and watch her hunt them down. Luckily georgia crickets.com warehouse is 15 mins from my house so I can pick them up whenever I want. I need to get around to breeding them, but it's too easy and cheap for me to just get...
I'm laughing to myself about the poop part. My little guy pooped so big the other day i wish I would have gotten a picture of it! Gross i know but it really blew my mind, I'm serious it was just about as long as he was. He also lifted his back legs off the branch he was on like he was really...
I like Greek mythological names. Here are some relating to the sun:
Apollo, Olympian god of light, the sun, prophecy, healing, plague, archery, music and poetry
Helios, Titan god of the sun
Heracles, the "solar hero", whose entire story has been interpreted as a sun myth, and whose labors...
I agree with this. I don't see why you shouldn't get a chameleon as long as you give it the care it needs. In my opinion their difficulty to care for is highly overrated as long as you do your research, aren't afraid to ask questions, and you're a responsible person.
My panther seems to love dubias but not much else. I wish I could get him to eat phoenix worms because my chinese water dragon loves them. It'd be nice if they ate the same things, but my CWD hates dubias!
I'm working on the same thing. What I found helped was to put it next to his favorite basking spot. He finally ate out of it yesterday after a couple days, but I think he only ate one or two crickets. I'm not sure what to do either.
I'm thinking about making my own custom adult enclosure. Would it be OK to put a 2.5 or so month old panther in it, or should I keep her in the smaller one for now and put her in the custom one when she gets bigger?
Thanks again for all the help. I'll definitely let some guy. I just got super paranoid reading about how they'll nibble on my baby when she's sleeping!
Sorry to piggyback your thread but is this male or female? I'm thinking female, but really no idea :D
See post right below, the attachment didn't work. Thanks
