    I have a 5.0 uvb bulb on her in an 18inch fixture. I am only giving here 2-4 hours of sun because I live in Gainesville, FL and the temperature has not been higher than 50 degrees in the day. Do you think I should leavee them out there even though it is kinda cold?

    Happens all the time to me. Do not worry about it. A good shower will do the trick. You can also use a damp q-tip and lighty try to get it out(very gently).

    How long do they live?

    In the females case, I know that breeding reduces her life emensly due to excess stress.Also, when chameleons get older they do not need to consume as much food or vitamins. I also was also reading in one of my cham books that the improper enclosure and enviroment can reduce that chameleons life.
