This is way off topic, but Syn, I went to your website. It said you enjoy varsity soccer? Thats beside the point, what Im trying to say is... If you're still in high school, how do you find the time to post all day? Just curious, wish I could have gotten away with stuff like that back in my...
I would say that's completley up to you. You're set up needs some work, but health-wise what do you think? Is this the only problem youve had? He shouldnt be sleeping during the day, thats a given. A picture in this case would help a bit.
Depending on your timer random option is for "house" lighting for vacations. Like a theft deterant. It offsets your on/off time to make it look less like a timer.
Reminds of this time I convinced someone my cham was a minisaurus, a newley discovered species of dinosaur still alive today. After a 2002 discovery in new zealand it was no other than the minisaurus that took the reptile worldby storm. However only several can be bred a year, by licence, per...
No, unfortunatley thats not good enough. Any fecal that falls in ther from the cham or crix, crix themselves will fall in. There is just no telling. Unless you can sit and watch the waterfall all day long and somehow ctach things before they fall in..... Well that probably still wont be good...
Also just to make sure, you dont have any substrate right? How about live plants vines and sticks. If you can get real plants, than that's what you should do. With a simple search of the boards you can find all you need to know on live plants for your enclosure. As stated before, lose the...
I have the arbricola, it'd been yellow and green since I got it. I had a similar problem as you but then realized most places its the same plant but whichever part of the latin name they want to use. For instance, the arbricolla at one place, was the octophylla in one store, and then at the...
I forgot to mention, cut a small hole in one of the bottom corners of the bag. Pinch it shut or just hole that side up, unzip half the bag, crix in. Zip up and shake, then hold the bag slightly tilded hole down. The crix usually walk right out and the powder stays in.
Why not try running the uvb tube corner to corner diagonaly? Thats what I do and it works great. It will also cover a lot more area this way than just utilizing the front or back alone.
6$ sounds great, but you never specified what kind it is? Digital, 1 outlet? Multiple set times? Any other justifying specs other than it's price? Also this is personal preference but I choose not to shop at walmart so even a model name would be helpful.
1/4 " crix man. No 1/2" yet. I highly doubt your cham is big enough at just 3 months to be eating 1/2. That may explain his low crix intake. You will without a doubt see him eat more if you back down to 1/4" Also if theyre too big this can lead to impaction. He should be pooping pretty much...
A google search turns up an improvementscatalog.com link with a one socket timer starting at 12.99. Seems like it's worth a try, it also has battery back up for storm season and frequent power outtages.
