Cresties are great and honestly one of the most stupid proof animals you can keep. After keeping chameleons, they are the simplest things ever. For a juvie you will be fine with just a 10 gallon tank. As an adult the small screen cage is fine, you can go all out but they'll be fine either way. I...
Whom did you get him from in Portland? Considering I live within a 20 minute drive of the breeder I could just pick up a gecko. I'm really impressed with Kilauea, she's a stunner.
What a lovely collection! That one pinner is quite the catch, do you've any breeding plans for her? I'd be really curious to see what she could produce. Maybe I'd have to convince you to sell me one of her babies to add to my collection, though four is enough...then again you can't have enough ;)
How do you know if he eats it or not? Honestly, he'll eat it when he gets hungry. I don't see mine eat but I'm not awake all night waiting for them to eat, as long as there is poop and you're monitoring weight you should be good.
Assuming you are feeding CGD then that is where your geckos are receiving their D3. The diet specifically is made for the needs of cresties and gargs as well supplemental wise.
They do not. Well I've no idea about fat tails but you don't necessarily need a UVB for cresties however some keepers disagree and say they are necessary. Personally I see no point.
I have a dalmation I believe, another female who looks similar to my other girl, and a creme male that fires up super light. I'd really like to buy a gargoyle at some point. I might start a little breeding project once my girls weigh enough. Geckos are all so cool.
Hey guys. I've just been lurking on the forums when I've time, the holidays have been nice with a break from school but the days are still not long enough. I've been missing my guys A LOT and seem to have the chameleon blues especially with all the Mellers and Quads that seem to be lurking...
Oh he's just beautiful Laurie. I think I'm having the chameleon blues, I'm so in love with both Mellers and Quads. I think I know what I am buying myself as a grad gift.
I love Rah's little horn, what a handsome man! :D:):D
Anyways, hope you had a lovely Christmas and New Year.
I actually wrote a 6 page research essay for one of my college classes on animal hoarders. The definition of a hoarder is one who collects more and more animals but is unable to provide proper sanitation and general care. The typical hoarder is unable to provide sanitary conditions for both...
Well it really just depends on your acne. I've fought with acne since 6th grade which is about 6 years now. Proactive did absolutely nothing for me except make my skin dry and red. My dermatologist basically said Proactive is a joke unless you have a certain type of acne. I have the tiny tiny...

Chameleon Info:
Your Chameleon - The species, sex, and age of your chameleon. How long has it been in your care?
Handling - How often do you handle your chameleon?
Feeding - What are you feeding your cham? What amount...
It's ok, I have the same problem :( It gets easier especially when helping the newbies. I've been focusing on my geckos...one day after college I will once again own another cham!
My boyfriend finished the main story line in 40 hours, he beat it over the first weekend it came out...yeah he loved it lol. I'm more of a cod person but even I think skyrim is pretty interesting.
Are they housed together? If so, you should definitely separate them but they may already be separated, it just wasn't clear.
Your male is gorgeous! Anyways, you'll want to switch your UVB to a 5.0 or lift the 10.0 off the cage a few inches, the light can become a bit intense for chameleons...
