Can anyone tell the sex of this one? 2 months old.

How old must a chameleon be before you can sex it?

I would assume because it would hold in moisture better then a mesh enclosure you wouldn't most as much. Would that be the case?

I saw someone that said they bred a male blue bar ambilobe panther with a female red bar ambilobe panther. I was wondering what would happen to the offsprings colors? Would they take characteristics for either red or blue bar Or would they get a whole new look? Or would the cross just muddy up...

I should still get the blood work results back today or tomorrow. as of last night when i picked him up the tests were currently being run. I will post what it was when i get the results. If I dont hear anything today I will call them tomorrow.

If he hs an RI how contagious is that? Does it need direct contact to transfer or can just be in the same room affect other? This is the only chameleon I have but I got other reptiles in the same room as him.

I am taking him back to the vet on my lunch for some fluids and mabey antibiotics if it is an RI

I assume the gapping is a sign of an RI as well.

I was did that some but the last couple days was trying to get some whole food to not have to worry about him choking on liquids so much. Back to bug juice today. He didn't take a whole lot this morning. Only about 1-1.5ml of juice.

I found him in his tank with his mouth open. He kinda looke like he was dry heaving. I also found 2 regurgitated crickets in the tank.

Vet said the Cham pooed while he was there. Looked normal color but a little runny. He also puked up a whole undigested superworm I had fed him 8 hours earlier while he was there. So He said to just feed bug juice the next couple days. He could still feel some food in him from this morning so...

Just left the vet office. They took the Cham to get some bloodwork and X-rays done. I should be getting him back in a little while and he say the results should be a couple days.
