My mom bought Izzie crickets tonight from Petsmart because we are running low and getting ready to place an online order--now that the weather has broke from the awful heatwave we have had. We were looking at them..and there is a hitch-hiker in there. Does anyone know what this thing is?

Our local Petsmart always say they have males...however, we have learned they are usually females. It's a game to us now to see if the staff knows the difference.:D Your little one is a cutie! Her colors will come in as she gets older. Izzie is almost 11 weeks and she displays black spots now...

Wow! My Izzie is 4 inches from nose to vent right now and she has grown a lot since I got her 4 weeks ago...it's hard to imagine holding a little one like yours. He will grow super quick! Hopefully some of the more experienced members can help you on feeding, etc. I would think pinhead crickets...

No....she has done it two times...once yesterday and once today...just for a few seconds at a time. Today, once she realized she was getting out of her house to play on her plants she was a happy girl. She really is a good tempered little one...I will just keep watching and try to see if there...

Izzie is growing! We are so exited to watch her change. We have had her 4 weeks now and can already see a huge difference since we brought her home. She is 10 weeks now. Yesterday she displayed the color black for the first time. It kind of surprised us. I though at first it was because my mom...

Izzie is 10 weeks old and eats about 15-18 small crickets per day. Sometimes the crickets are only 1/4 inch, none are bigger than 1/2 inch. We haven't found worms yet that we feel we can feed her safely...they all seem too large (we may be over-protective). *NO MEALWORMS for her * Today my task...
