Well I would assume that it would be ok as far as an item they would consume normally in the wild... being that they are insectavores. Really in any chameleons home range there are probably tons of different insects that they eat on a regualr basis. My only objection would be that spiders and...

Thanks Everyone!!! Yea I used to do that all the time when I had a back yard but now that I live in an apartment I cant really do that. There just isnt an safe places for me to leave him out for a while.

I would agree with PantherVeiled. The added stress is probably not very good on a pregnant cham that dosent really like attention to begin with. I would keep her in let her lay her clutch and than start taking her outside again.
