I'm so sorry. I followed your posts and was really pulling for you and your little one. It's so tough to lose a beloved friend! My thoughts are with you!
Since I did "cpr" on Crayola after he fell in water, my coworkers call me the "chameleon whisperer." They can't believe I'd give "mouth to mouth" to a LIZARD!!!:eek: They say they wouldn't have tried to save him....he's just a lizard. :mad:
Some symptoms of RI are: increased mucus in the chameleon’s mouth;
popping or crackling sounds when breathing; labored breathing; gasping and opening its mouth even in the low temperature range; lungs often overly inflated; and swelling in the the forehead (between eyes) and even eyes (looked...
It was actually pretty good! Now, I'm wondering if they'd like me to work weekends to improve the set up and sell a few animals. In exchange for a cham and set up, of course.:p
A new reptile store opened nearby, so, of course, I had to visit.;)
They have a little of everything...snakes, iquanas, swifts, geckos, spiders, scorpions, and CHAMS! I'm in trouble!!!!!
While the cham setups weren't perfect, they were far superior to what you see in the big chain stores...
He's gorgeous! My male is a little younger than Zippy, but he's showing some of the same colors....I can't wait until he colors up as nicely as Zippy (don't tell him I said that ;)). How do you get such great pictures? Crayola HATES the camera and my phone! He will literally leap to get away...
I'm so sorry for your loss.:( I enjoyed seeing his pictures recently. He was a truly beautiful chameleon. I've read many of your posts, and you are very knowledgeable. Things happen, don't let it shake your confidence in your care of and love for chameleons.
Very nice! You're setup is beautiful! And the chameleons aren't too shabby looking. ;)
Seriously, your T. peretti chams are gorgeous! Maybe one day I'll have enough experience to get one from you!
