Well, the roaches were an ongoing arguement that helped us split. Of course there were more problems but this isnt the Springer show. Besides, my new gf Crystal is falling for chams like I did, roaches and all.

I Have An Empty Cage, Help Me Fill It With Something!

Yes they stay that small. Yes they are a type of chams. From what I've gathered, and I'm no expert on Pygmys, they aren't to much harder to take care of with the main difference being that the spend most of their lives on the forest floor or rather near it, so you have to make their enclosure...

The mesh is 1 inch. I know it seems small but with his 1 1/4" cask plus his big ol' head, he ain't getting out. I've watched him through a window thats just to the left of the enclosure and he has tried to escape but so far its cham proof. I so thought about that but I just haven't done it...

Sometimes I feel bad bringing him back inside. He just gets up on his basking branch and stares out the window without moving. He cheers up after I give him something to eat though.

    Outdoor Setup

I actually made this 2 weeks ago when I had the day off on a Monday. It took me about 2 hours, most of that was spent putting on zip-tie's. I spent $8.99 on the plastic mesh, $7 on zip-ties, and the PVC corners and "T" connections were $.33 each. The PVC pipes I already had from work. So grand...
