After examining some of these crickets to try and take a picture of there mouth, which was kind of hard since i have no camera skills. Grab a full grown male crickets and flip it over and you will see the set of chompers these guys have when there trying to eat!!!!! Try getting a pen and...
They do. I was handling one when i first got them and i was caught off guard when one decided to bite me. I quickly looked at the cricket and could not believe the mouth he had. It was freakish. Maybe i can find one with the freakish mouth and post a picture. I have them mixed in with my normal...
I have some of these crickets and was thinking the same thing. What are they. There not the usual ones i get. I got about 1000 of them from the Pomona show not to long ago. They most definitely seem much more aggressive.
The link i posted for the lamp is a plug in. You don't have to do any thing but place the bulbs inside and plug into to wall. It has a string that you pull to turn on and off.
I was buying my 24" fixture at walmart for about 12 dollars. They where t-8 and held two 24" bulbs. Here is a link to the exact model i was getting and finding at walmart.

The crew and eggs are doing great. I believe my female sambava might be ready to lay a second small clutch soon from retained chameleon juice. :D I need to post some update picture of my ambilobe male that still does not have a name except for " No Name".
Got him at a reptile show in Aug of 2010 in Pomona from Tiki Tiki Reptiles. As for the sire i didn't get a name nor did i ask, but was told that he gets some deep blues and that was him hanging over your head.
I know, I'm being lazy about the pictures. The Nosy be is from tikitiki and the ambilobe is from kammers. All my chameleons are doing fantastic. The Nosy Be is getting real blue and the ambilobe is getting his colors as well. Ill try to post some pics of them soon hopefully :D
Seeing Izzie trying to eat the worms made me real happy. Shes lucky to have such a good owner to do all that she can for her. As for the tail it looks very bruised and hopefully it will pass and get its color back soon.
