Save your money and wait till you can make sure you wont be tight for money. What will you do if you need to take the cham to a vet and your tight on money? Now times that by 2 chams....

If you are sure your chameleon needs Terramycin Eye Ointment, then what i do is put some on the tip of a clean Q-tip and then apply around the affected area or dab it right on the eye so it get the eye bulb.

Note, you can use incandescent white bulbs bought from a hardware store like Lowe's, Home Depot or any other place that might sale them if they still have any left to use for UVA heat and they are cheaper too. ( Pack of 4 for like a few dollars if that).

To make a basket spot cooler, you need to either raise the lamp or use a lower watt bulb. Then measure the basking spot to see if it is with in range of the species temp range needed for basking.
