Uh oh that may be a problem hehe. It took me half an hour to figure out a way to get it into that cage... I had to take the bottom out, and put the cage over it lol.
Thank you!
Thanks a lot! He surprised me today!
Thank you!
That is an umbrella plant. They hold water extremely well, and is pretty hardy and strong. He loves the thing. Jack seems to be shedding around 1 time every month and a half. If not a little sooner than this. His colors look better after...
Thanks for the kind words! I have no experience with vields... But from what I hear, they are great starters. I started with Jack, and have had no horrible issues thus far, aside from a minor Vit A deficiency! I got him as a baby, around 3-4 mo. And he hated me! I can say though from experience...
Here's Jack! He's almost 11 months old! He's an Ambanja panther, and I started with him. Well tempered, he loves to come out and hang, and has never gave me much troubles!
Continue with the medication as prescribed until Monday. Maybe try to dose him with 1/2 of what was prescribed, and the other 1/2 if he sucessfully takes the 1st treatment.
Well if there is one thing I've picked up from this whole thread is that you do indeed care about her with everything you got... You may be overreacting though, which is totally understandable :) Your cham looks as healthy as an ox, and seems to be energetic and fine! I think she is gravid and...
I would suggest losing the orange cubes and gutloading with fresh produce fruits and vegs. Keep everything moist and the humidity up. I hear that you said she just went. What color was the urate? Anything other than white will give you a good clue towards dehydration.... If you are thinking your...
Pittsburgh here m8 ;)
Yes I would definatelly grab at least a live plant. Live plants are not only good for humans ya know!
The cage looks great, but should have some branches for him to bask on. The colors are crazy so make sure your cham doesn't stress out too easily!
Looks Preggers to me... The constipation you are referring too might be her eggbound... I don't have much experience of my own with any femail vields, however I have done extensive research in plans to breed in the very near future. If she was ready to lay eggs I'm sure she should have started...
I'm not exactly sure where you are from, I might have read over it, but here in Pennsylvania, you can pick up screen in multiple places. Home dopot, or Lowes, especially. It is very cheap. I've replaced a few sections of my cages, and usually you need to use a screen tool, and this rubber...
WHAT A PERV!
I haven't had this problem, I'm wondering if they are escaping from your chams cage? Is he cup fed? or are they free roaming around? I know my cage has a couple spots (from a broken hinge) that the bugs were able to get out from, I have since fixed this problem!
OHNAU you caught me!!
No really, Jack has really surprised me with how colorful he got.
He just started to show these PINK bars last night and I was lucky enough to get a good shot!!! ;)
I can't wait to see your guy when he fills in! Keep me updated please!
By beginner do you mean a beginner in building cages or keeping chameleons? By your blueprints, you seem to have a great idea of what you need! The drainage system is ideal, and will benefit you a great amount.
I can say from reading your notes, that this will probably run you more than...
