his colors are quite impressive for his young age. I would show the pics I have but they are not mine, Id have to ask the breeder :) Im sure though he will show me soon so that I can share his charm :p Its sooooo exciting! I love my Kai (red ambilobe) to pieces but there is just something about...
I am pleased to announce that I now have another (2nd) panther :D He is a 3.5 month old Nosy Be and for being a babe, he sure has a HUGE personality!! I can't wait for him to get settled in so he can start showing his awesome blues. I just need to find the perfect name…such a difficult decision...
For those of you who said crickets will eat through plastic…what are you referring to? Thats not the same as the fiberglass screen is it? I will be building soon but I want to stay away from metal screen altogether. Since my guy doesn't cup feed on his own (I have to be holding the cup) and I...
That looks awesome, great way to make use of a big space. I do wonder how your drainage is going to work, id be scared with all that technology right below. Cant wait to see it finished!
Oh wow I woulda puked! Your poor cham :( hope he gets over the trauma and is unaffected health wise. He should be totally fine though especially if he is in prime health :)
I'm soooo happy to hear you have most back, sorry for your girls conditions. Hope they make a full recovery!! I will still keep a look out about the others on this end of town. I really hope you take that note to the authorities, seeing as they did still take ~$800 worth in chams. You never know...
Hi first off your temps are too hot for a juvie, next thing is you need to dust with plain calcium every feeding!!! Please refer to the care sheets on this site for your cham. This will give you a good start point. Then using the search on this forum, search MBD and read all you can about it...
yeah its quite possible your chams have MBD. I can't see your pics  One other thing an above member said…you do need to increase supplements! A vet (herp vet) visit is BEST right now, they will also be able to give some calcium boosters. After that you must dust w/ plain calcium at...
They really need a constant exposure to UVB and UVA for that 12 hrs., otherwise they can't utilize the calcium and d3 you are giving them. Search MDB and supplements or D3 and read the first few threads, these will explain all you need to know! Yes the lights at night must go! They need full...
Sorry about your chams! First of all I would recommend that you get rid of the night lights for good! Chams NEED their 12 on, 12 off lighting cycle!! Then I would also recommend that you use a proper gut load and ditch that orange cricket "junk". There are so many better alternatives out there...
OMG I'm sooooo sorry to hear that :(! Being from the Cleveland suburbs I know this is an absolutely reality. Needless to say that yeah I don't trust anyone around here! Ugh, that just makes me sick. I really hope whoever did this will be caught and dealt with accordingly  Please keep us...
Hopefully one of our amazing house vets will chime in :D Im only slightly concerned due to a tongue issue that recently came about, and since I just saw his exact water source I just kinda put that into the equation. I noticed the slight decline of power and accuracy over the past few weeks with...
Thats good to hear! I may switch to their cages now or dragonstrand's. I don't have a reptibreeze now but I do have a DIY with rusting screen where the mister hits and then acts as a "dome", which btw Kai loves to drink from. Does anyone know if this can be harmful? And anyone else with DIY rust...
Is he doing this (coming out and climbing on you) all on his own? Or are you "bringing" him out against his will? The reason I ask is because some chams are just friendly and then some not so much. I had this same Q when my; at the time 7 mon. panther started to "demand" coming out. I was afraid...
