    Plant recommendations?

I don't know if a bouganvilla is such a good idea. They have nasty thorns and could potentially injure your chameleons. Just my two cents.

    Keeping Chameleons Outside

For those of you in So Cal and Florida, do any of you keep your chameleons outside? If so, what temperature range is okay, and do you ever use supplemental heating at night?

    Why are my Hibiscus dying??

Hibiscus are also notorious for pests such as mites and also need more water than most house plants. Thus, make sure you're watering enough and take the plants outside every week to spray them down. Also as already indicated Hibiscus need good light, but can acclimate to the indoors.

Newbie here, please fill in your advice.

For a good primer on chameleon care, check out the care information provided on the websites of several of the forum sponsors such as Fl Chams, Screameleons, Kammerflage Kreations etc. Then supplement it with the information provided by the forum members. Unfortunately, pet shops are some of...

    ReptiBreeze Screen Tank

Have you thought about an Aluminum Screen Cage from LLL Reptile or a stainless steel cage from DIYcages.com? I believe both vendors will ship internationally and the cost shouldn't be prohibitively expensive. I highly recommend DIYcages as they are stainless steel and if you're having...

    Wild Caught

I agree. Hobbyists should stick to stick to captively breed, if at all possible. Plus they're typically hardier and parasite free. Let the breeders deal with the wild caught.

    LLL Reptile 65 gallon Reptarium

No, the 65 gal is a bit too small and squat. Chameleons prefer height to climb. Instead I'd recommend the 24x24x48 Alumiminum screen cage.

    Help! Cricket Dilema

You guys are blowing this way out of proportion. Polystyrene is inert and poses minimal risk. It poses no more risk than the cardboard, dirt and other non-organic junk that crickets routinely eat. Simply remove the remaining pieces from colony, continue to gutload and in 24 hours it'll be...

    eye problems

Try giving her a shower. There are several threads which discuss how you do this. Chameleons with eye issues often like a shower to flush their eyes.

    My first pics

Nice. You may want to add some additional vines/branches near your basking area, so your chameleon can have several options/temperatures levels when basking.

Reptile Super Show - San Diego - June 26-27

The San Diego Reptile show is within walking distance of the Gaslamp that has tons of restuarants. Also Downtown Johnny Brown's is a very good local burger and brew place right in to the San Diego Concourse (it's literally a couple of hundred feet from the show). The food's pretty good and...

    Plant I.D. please

My bad, that first plant is clearly not pothos. (No more late night posts for me.) It's either a varigated Alpina zerumbet (Shell Ginger) or perhaps spathiphylum (Peace Lilly).

    Plant I.D. please

The first is a pothos the other is a dwarf umbrella tree. Honestly, most common house plants are non-toxic so I wouldn't worry too much.

    Help....

Slim, definitely swap out your UVB bub to a 5.0, the higher UVB 10.0 is designed for desert species and may cause eye problems with chameleons. On the issue of the heating pad and 100W bulb, I obviously don't know your exact husbandry conditions, but you may be overheating your chameleon...
