    Breading crikets

Honestly humidity is more important than temperature when hatching crickets. Takes about 12 days for my eggs to begin hatching. I use a tupperware container inside a shoe box size tote. I keep the whole thing on a heating pad on LOW setting. I also keep the tupperware container off the floor of...

    Breading crikets

What I do is cover the egg laying container with metal mesh screen. The female will still be able to stick her ovapositor in the soil and it keeps the males out. Hope this helps.

    Silly Dubia question

Yea that's the reason they don't lay the eggs, because inside the female, they stay warm. Sometimes you can see her protruding the ootheca and this is to regulate the temperature of the babies. So long story short, like others have said, if it falls out of the female, they're as good as dead.:)

    Petsmart hospital examination

I'm not knockin anyone. Sorry if it sounded so. I understand that they're not experts and most trying to make ends meet. I was just stating that the majority of those employees aren't knowledgeable enough to be giving advice, especially on husbandry and such.

    Petsmart hospital examination

Yea 95% of Pet Smart employees don't know a thing about the animals they sell. They like to make people think they do but when you join an awesome forum such as this one and find out everything they told you about your cute little reptile you just brought home is far from the truth, you think...

    whats happens when?

Actually I had a scare about 5 months ago with my bearded dragons. I bought a pair from a guy on Fauna Classifieds. One male and one female high end. He said they weren't related but their markings and looks were so similar it was crazy. So I ended up going to a reptile vet and they took blood...

    Foods for Chameleons

I hand feed my veiled greens such as mustard, turnip, and very seldom kale greens. Best way though is to gutload your insects fresh fruits and veggies. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YvOrjnPRGsM&list=UUeSEsHRELZ4IlfsdBfA9lzQ&index=1&feature=plcp

    whats happens when?

Believe it or not people actually do it with bearded dragons, pythons. I am in no way approving it because all sorts of things can go wrong. It is very much so frowned upon in this hobby. Definitely not something that should be done, period.
