Changing his habitat, etc. will make them fussy. He could still be adjusting so give him some time. Yellow urates is dehydration so watch him to make sure he is drinking. It may take a couple of days for him to figure out the dripper and cup feeding. I would get the heat up in the basking area...
I've heard that if they are over weight it shows in their casque but he doesn't look heavy in the pic. I don't believe it causes eye swelling though. Sorry just don't have much help there.
Ficus sap can cause irritation but not sure if it would cause swelling like he has. I wouldn't change to plastic especially if he likes eating leaves. You could change to a different type plant or get a clip and try offering collard greens instead.
If she is pacing the bottom she may be trying to lay eggs. Do you have a laying bin for her? I use a small garbage can with slightly moist sand and eco earth mix. She prefers digging in her plants though. Do you have any live plants for her?
Yes, chams will eat roaches, dubia are best. Okay, have you given her a dripper for water? You should mist her with a spray bottle with warm water a couple times a day for several mins. It will stimulate her thirst. Don't spray her directly and make sure there were no chemicals used in the...
Lettuce and mealworms are not good for chams. Try some of the other feeders suggested or gut loaded crickets. Is she drinking? If you don't get her eating properly she will get sick.
I used a small plastic bowl about four inches long and two and a half or so deep. Attach it to a limb or the side, someplace it can get to. Small crickets won't get out or you can remove one or both of the hopper legs if it looks like they can escape.
Sometimes they get tired of the same food and need something else. Have you tried feeding anything besides crickets? If its very young it may also be having a hard time finding them. You can try cup feeding.
Do you know what strength uvb bulb you have and how far away from the light is she? A 5.0 she needs to be within 12" of the light. Shes a sweet looking little girl.
I use the zoo med reptivite. Since you gutload well I would only use it a couple times a month. You may also want to consider some other feeder as she may be tired of crickets. Silkworms are a nice change and mine love them.
I don't think you have anything to worry about. She is probably adjusting to the new enclosure. They also seem to slow down eating during colder months. The only thing I can see is the calcium w d3, I wouldn't use it every day. Get pure calcium and only use the d3 a couple times a month. Do you...
silkworms will make stools loose and have extra slime when going. Its always good to have a fecal done just in case. I don't think you have anything to worry about though.
I rotate the sickly plants out and replace them. I haven't had problems when changing the cage around either. Sometimes it takes a day or two for them to get used to the new setup.
Thats great, I am so happy he has improved. I understand your frustration, the one I worked at wasn't great either but at least my boss was easy going. You are doing good work there and saving little ones.
