Man thats a big difference for one application. Looks like it will work without the cleaning. I will have to make a note on this treatment in my emergency book.
I would love to release him back but we are a long way from the desert here. I don't think he would make it here in the city its definately not his usual habitat. Hopefully we can find someone heading out there this summer and get him back. I hate it when people catch wild things and then dump them.
We looked through the utah listings but didn't find one that really fit his description. He almost looks and acts like a whiptail but the coloring wasn't quite right. We can't release him here so I have to try and care for him as best I can, I don't know why people do this sort of thing.
I know alot of you keep other reptiles so hopefully someone knows what this little guy is. He was wild caught in the utah desert and then dumped at my job.
On one of my orders a while back there was a problem and while we were talking she was saying they had problems with some eggs being mishandled and lost a bunch. They are probably still trying to get caught up.
If you have food out for the ferrets thats what they were after. We have some big ones over here too and they go after the cat food if there is any left outside. Glad to see someone else has ferrets. I have 8 of the little munchkins.
An xray is the best way to see how good his bones are. Also as Titan said how he is getting around. It was 7 months for my guy and I still keep a close eye on him. Is his grip strong on your finger? Does he move around without losing his grip or shaking? I am not sure how bad it was in your guy...
We will be better able to help if you answer these question.
Cage Info:
Cage Type - Describe your cage (Glass, Screen, Combo?) What are the dimensions?
Lighting - What brand, model, and types of lighting are you using? What is your daily lighting schedule?
Temperature - What temp range...
If thats the soonest you can go it will have to be. Its good that hes eating but you need to make sure he is drinking. Napping during the day isn't a good sign either. Is he staying under the basking light? It is a high temp and will dehydrate him more. Let us know how it goes.
LOL, well all our little ones are spoiled but he is definately daddy's boy. Kent don't you feed silkworms? I'm surprised your chams don't go on strike.:)
