3-5 silkworms a day
and yea im giving him fresh potting soil almost everday because i dont want him to like "eat" himself into a ditch in the pot lol. but this wont cause impaction? and as long as it fertilizer...

im looking for an incubator for my panther chameleons eggs she will hopefully be laying soon! there are two kinds of the hovabator, the thermal air flow and the turbofan. both i think do the same job, but ones more expensive...
thanks. and yea i put the crickets in the feeding cup and hand feed everything else. he seems to just be checking out his new "house" lol but thanks for the comment and i know the paper towels are annoying. haha
i have the ficus tree, the hanging pothos and a little red palm in the back. feeding cup hanging from the exoterra jungle vines. is the feeding cup in a bad spot? because he will usually eat 15-20 crickets a day and he only ate about 9 today. maybe because i moved him yesterday? idk if you have...
glass is bad. chams need ventilation and the aquariums, with the needed moisture and humidity, will cause bacteria. dont get a reptarium. they break easily and are not good at all in my opinion. screen caged terrariums would be the best. and i would get him in a screen cage asap.
i just moved my cham into a new cage. he seemed a little nervous about it like i thought he would be. do you think when he gets used to the cage is he going to be comfortable around me and trust me or do i have to build up his trust again. just opinions, maybe if some of you have had the same...
sorry ken
" they will feel the vibrations of any sound/movement that happens on either the branch/vine/or plant they are on". they dont have a outer or middle ear so they cant hear things in the air.
my panther doesnt seem to just lick the leaves. i often find him actually shooting his tongue completely out on moving water. in the morning he sits on a vine, and hits like 2-5 droplets off of another vine. is this bad?
well im not sure. i used to have a infared light. but my panther would always be awake so i got rid of it. it dropped the temperature and now he falls alseep the whole night. but i dont think they have nocturnal vision. i just think if they hear something and they are awake they'll look towards...
yea ill get a pic tomorrow, his lights just went out so i dont wanna be snapping pictures. and yea like id have one spot clear towards the top of the cage for basking. im just gonna put the exo terra jungle vines around the plants so he can get from place to place and also have a strong vine to...
