I understand and thats why I do allot of research and join these forums to help better my pets and myself. I do ist my chameleons every day as well but now that they drink from the bowl they dont drink of the leaves any more. Believe me when i say i take the best care possible of my pets. But...
If a chameleon drinks from it and it is clean and sanitary what's wrong with it. How is it "by no stretch of the imagination" sufficiant. Not trying to sound rude but do these chams have water purifiers and cricket dusters in the wild? I have kept many different pets and alway keep them in the...
I mix a 1to1 ratio of herptivite and the repto-cal like it says on the box and do that 2 to 3 times a week. Thats what my breeder told me i should do anyways.
Ya but it might be just high enough to help them get to that top mesh and they can hang on to that, then make their escape. Just a thought. like i said the've never got out of mine when i keep it with just the tubes
Cant we all just get allong :D . If you want your chams to drink easier try the bubble stump from pmart for like $11. It should stimulate your chams to drink it won't be standing water and as long as you keep it clean and your chams take to it you'll be fine... and maybe this scuffle will go...
Guess i just buy dumb crickets :) cuz i've never seen them on the top or even close to getting out. Did you guys put other stuff in there with all the tubes. Maybe that helped them climb up, cuz i dont use anything but the tubes and they cant seem to walk up them.
In my experience it will help them drink because they like the moving water but in the long run its not worth it because they like to poop in them. It will be verry difficult to keeep clean. Its like the waterfall is target practice or something :D (Although I do like the way they look...
How do they climb out? Which cricket keeper do you have the large or small one? I have the large one and they have never gotten out. I'm not sure how they could.
I will be housing him indoors. You think I will be ok. My veilds are perfectly healthy so I know how to take care of chams. I know this is a completely different species but none of the care sheets I have read seem to say they are that much more diffucult, and I have read allot.
Hey guys I've been keeping veilds for a while now and was thinking of expanding my collections. I decided on getting a Jackson's (I think a male dwarf), I love their horns. Are they any harder to keep than a veiled? Is their cage size different. I'm planning on getting one in about two months...
You know oddly enough they don't poop in this one. I had a regular water bowl before this and your right it's like they were aiming for it but for some reason for like two weeks they haven't. It's like they know they will drink from it :D. I know thats not the case maybe I've just been lucky but...
Wel i can tell you since I have one that it is really not that deep or big to begin with, but if you decide to use it and are affraid you could get some non toxic aquarium stones and put those in there if you wanted to make sure.
