    Female Panther refuses to eat

She most likely has egg(s) still. Unfortunately, I have witnessed it, to my favorite ever chameleon, actually. Get an xray just to be sure. It's unwanted guilt. :(

    Wildfire Smoke

This summer while recouping, my son decided to melt our oven. Needless to say, our house was overrun with smoke. I did move everyone outside overnight. But, they still got a good dose. For maybe two days, they just didn't seem 100%. No definitive something is wrong with this one or that one, but...

Can babies be in a large enclosure?

Raise the floor upwards with some sort of supports (milk crates are good). Keep level. Lower as needed. Mic drop. :D

Cleaning Stains at Bottom of Cage

I use the 24" x 24" self adhesive linoleum (might be trapertine) squares attached to the pvc floors. You can cut them down with a razor blade, if needed. All kinds of crazy to natural patterns @ Lowes. It stiffens the pvc, for less bowing from laying bins or plants. Keeps crix from escaping...

Didn't expect to have to worry about this!

Fire ants don't play, especially South Carolina ones. People have died there from them.

    Fantasy Football

I miss you honey. Come home. I left your things just as you left them. :D Just isn't the same without you or Brad. :( However, I need the practice. You will play next year, RIGHT. By the way, start another one those great off the wall threads. Especially, the ones about complete idiotic...

    First Baby! Got question!

They sit and absorb the rest of the egg for nutrition. It happens when the egg pips a little early. He will be fine, just let him do his thing. If you remove him, his yolk will dry out. Therefore, not getting all the nutrients he needs. For these, I leave in the tupperware for 24 hours before...

    Fantasy Football

There was a great Tinder or Grinder joke in the situation there, but do to lack of sleep recently, I couldn't form it. Swipe left, Swipe right. Everything will be okay, until their info is stolen. Karma has a way of always rearing it's head. :)

    Dehydrated Baby Veiled???

Most veils, especially young ones, don't drink in front of humans. Make sure to heavily mist before walking away. Enough water to last a couple minutes. Once he sees you have left, he'll drink. Fridge filtered water or tap water (leave lid off jug for 24hrs for chlorine to evaporate) at room...

    Why do they do this?i

    3) Reptiles expand their skin and jaw for alignment. Most of my panthers yawn first thing in the morning, swallow a little just before the first cricket of the day. However, you are correct, usually overheated.

    Powdered Bug Burger

I only feed it dry. Wet is a complete waste. The crickets simply don't eat enough of it, if anything else is available. Now dry, it is all gone by that night.

Escaped chameleon found 6 weeks later

55°f is easily survivable by him, as they can see even lower temps in nature. Just keep feeding and hydrating.
