Welcome!
We would need to see some pics in order to determine whats going on.
But it could just be he is maturing.
the base of the tail on male panthers can get pretty thick looking.
It appears to be a female.
There doesn't appear to be any real tarsal spur, and the shape of the casque is more petite.
ALso, with a cham that size, a male would probably be showing a hint of the yellow bars by now.
that's actually a very normal thing to do.
You just have to find a person near you willing to do that.
Im currently doing the same thing, I borrowed someones male to breed with my female, and will be returning him as soon as she lays.
Id try to get some fruit flies. SHe looks almost freshly hatched, I wouldn't say shes over a month old, more like 2-3 weeks.
at that age, they can do the pinhead crickets, which you can order online, but you can also get fruit flies, from a petco they sell them in jars.
nope she still hasn't gaped at him, but shes not a big gaping girl either, shes very chill, very laid back.
she avoids the male when I get them together, but im just not sure.
I mean he might be a bit,, thick, lol. so may want to cut back on some bugs, maybe take him for a walk, get him some exercise. haha. but no MBD anywhere.
