    Plants Question

Hibiscus is a beautiful plant for an enclosure. Make sure you have plenty of light in there or else the leaves will start to turn yellow and die. You may want to pick up a grow light, or keep the enclosure close to a window. With enough light, they are hard to kill (unless your cham eats all the...

    Habbamist Necessary?

most members on here (including myself) will tell you that if you buy anything other than a mist king to start, you will end up hating it and getting the mist king anyway. Its worth the $100 but dont forget you will also need a timer if you get one.

    Trip to Schools Herpitarium

I didn't have any classes today so I decide to take a stroll down to the BGSU Herpitarium. I am a senior here and had, until today, never visited it. They have hundreds of beautiful lizzards, turtles, snakes, etc. and the woman who is head of the program showed me around, let me hold some of the...

    Graceful Cham Colors

From what I know, the previous owner had her since she was very young and never had her with a male so if she is gravid, they are not fertile.

She is old enough to be having eggs and I was wondering if these were just stress colors or receptive/laying colors. She usually looks like this: This is her now, and she is showing these colors more often. Even when I am not around. she also shows these colors: but it...

    Help?

I think its part of moving into a new cage (regardless of age). When I adopted my new one, she was all over the place I presume exploring. After she figured out where everything was she was off the tops and sides.

jackson's on floor dosen't seem sick

probably too hot, trying to get away from the heat and you should be using the w/o d3 daily and the w/d3 twice a month. Most people recommend against the compact UVB Bulb (including myself). Try using a normal 40-60 watt white house bulb instead of the red one, or move it further from the cage

Help, UK noob having a panic !

Instead of the waterfall, if you really want a watering system that is self automated, go with the mist king systems. I just purchased mine and set it up today and it by far exceeded my expectations. It is quieter than anything else I have used and it creates such a fine mist that is evenly...

Help, UK noob having a panic !

Other members will recommend you don't use the waterfall. If you had a screen cage, simple drip system (some sort of plastic container with a pin hole in it so that it drips) and a spray bottle you'll be fine for humidity and drinking water assuming you mist 2-3 times daily for a few minutes...

    Temp Problems

As you may have read, I recently picked up a graceful chameleon off of Craigslist as a rescue (missing nails, mouth rot, generally poor conditions). They had her in a small Zilla screen cage. I did not look at the temps when I picked her up but when I placed her in my 5'tall cage with the same...

how often can me veiled have mice??

I have no experience with mice, but I have read other members recommending one a month being plenty. Pinky mice have a high fat content and offer little other nutrients while adult mice are too large usually.
